NCSoft has announced the end of service (EOS) for its multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game, Battle Crush. This is surprising, as the game never reached its fully polished release. Following a global test in August 2023 and early access in June 2024, the game will be shutting down just months later.
Battle Crush Shutdown Date:
The game's servers will be taken offline on November 29th, 2024. In-game purchases have already ceased. Refunds will be issued for purchases made between June 27th, 2024, and October 23rd, 2024.
Android and Steam players can request refunds from December 2nd, 2024, to January 2025. Players should download any desired content by November 28th, 2024, as the game will become inaccessible afterward.
The official website will remain online until May 30th, 2025, for any necessary support. Social media accounts and the Discord server will close on January 31st, 2025.
Unexpected Closure?
The sudden closure is understandably disappointing for players who invested time and effort into Battle Crush. While the game offered enjoyable moments, it lacked the polish and refinement needed for long-term success. Issues such as clunky controls and pacing problems contributed to its premature end.
You can still download and play Battle Crush on the Google Play Store before the November 29th shutdown. For those seeking a new gaming experience, check out our next article covering the story-driven Autumn Season quests in Black Desert Mobile.
