Niantic has just announced an exciting new event for Pokémon Go enthusiasts: Steeled Resolve, set to run from January 21st to January 26th. During this period, players can dive into a variety of encounters and challenges. A highlight of the event will be the debut of the Galar region's Rookidee, Corvisquire, and Corviknight, offering players the chance to catch these new additions to their Pokédex.
Steeled Resolve also marks the beginning of the Dual Destiny Special Research chapter. By completing these tasks, players can earn rewards such as Fast and Charged TMs, a Lucky Egg, and more. This Special Research is available for free until March 4th, giving everyone ample time to participate and collect their rewards.
Throughout the event, activating Magnetic Lure Modules will draw in Pokémon like Onix, Beldum, and the newly introduced Rookidee. Additionally, players can strategically enhance their Shadow Pokémon by using a Charged TM to forget the Charged Attack Frustration. Wild encounters during the event will include Pokémon like Clefairy, Machop, and Paldean Wooper. Event-themed Field Research tasks will provide items and encounters, while a paid Timed Research option at $5 will grant additional perks, including 2x Hatch Stardust and encounters with Galarian Weezing and Clodsire.
To cap off the event, Go Battle Week: Dual Destiny will go live, allowing players to enjoy bonuses like 4x Stardust from win rewards and an increased number of sets per day. The Great League and Ultra League will be active, offering diverse battle experiences for all levels of trainers.
