How to Beat All Monsters in E.R.P.O.

E.R.P.O. is continuously evolving with new monsters being added, so it's a good idea to bookmark this page for the latest updates. Below, you'll find detailed guides on each monster. While there's a strategy for dealing with each one, you can also use various weapons to attack them:

  • Beat them in Melee: From the Machete to the Hammer, these can be purchased in the shop for 10k to 20k cash. They'll appear in your next level, ready to be picked up with M1 and swung at monsters for damage. Be cautious with ranged attackers like the Huntsman. Employ a hit-and-run tactic to minimize damage, and always carry healing packs when engaging in melee combat.

  • Grenades and Mines: Available in the shop, Grenades can be picked up with M1, uncorked with E, and thrown for massive damage. They're perfect for taking out weaker monsters and severely damaging stronger ones. Mines require placement and waiting for the monster to trigger them, making them useful in strategic locations.

  • Monster Brawl: Clever positioning can turn monsters against each other. Lure a Huntsman to shoot another monster by running behind it and making noise. Similarly, pulling Reapers into each other during their attack animations can cause mutual damage.

Now, let's dive into the specific strategies for each monster.

Robe Guide (Ghost)

The Robe, a shadowy figure, will grab and damage you upon contact. To evade it, crouch and hide, or kite it around. Baiting it into two Grenades or Mines can eliminate it, but melee combat is risky due to its high damage output. Be aware that Robe teleports and accelerates towards you if you look at its mask.

Reaper Guide

The Reaper, with its sword-like arms, spins to inflict melee damage. While it can be kited or avoided like the Robe, it's more vulnerable to melee attacks due to its lower damage output. A single grenade combined with a few hits can take it down, and grenades or mines can stun it, making it easier to finish off.

Apex Predator Guide (Duck)

These seemingly harmless ducks are non-hostile until provoked. If attacked or disturbed, they become aggressive, flying and biting with low damage but relentless pursuit. Your best strategy is to outrun them or dispatch them with melee weapons. Using grenades on them is overkill given their low HP.

Huntsman

The Huntsman, a blind marksman, can one-shot you if he hears you via voice chat or fast movement. To survive, crouch and hide under tables, avoiding direct confrontation. Melee is not an option due to his auto-aim capability. Instead, place mines where he's likely to step, or throw grenades while crouched to stun him for 6 seconds, allowing a safe approach with melee weapons.
