If you've been keeping up with the Pocket Gamer team's weekly Wrapps, you'll know how much I've been diving into Hearthstone lately. However, it looks like I'll have to step up my game with the upcoming "Into the Emerald Dream" update, set to launch on March 25th. This exciting update will introduce 145 new cards, shaking up your strategies and combat tactics.
Among these new cards, we'll see the introduction of fresh Keywords to master: Imbue for Druid, Hunter, Mage, Paladin, Priest, and Shaman, and Dark Gifts for Death Knight, Demon Hunter, Rogue, Warlock, and Warrior. I'm still getting a handle on how these new mechanics will influence gameplay, but they're sure to stir up the meta, especially with the expansion of the Choose One keyword. Each class will receive a Choose One card, offering two different modes to choose from during battle, adding another layer of strategic depth.
Adding to the mix is a new Legendary minion, Ysera, Emerald Aspect, which promises to shake things up even further as players craft new decks to compete.
