Hogwarts Legacy will support mods and it will happen sooner than you think

Warner Bros. Games has delighted Harry Potter fans with a magical announcement: Hogwarts Legacy will officially support mods, starting this Thursday! This exciting feature will be exclusive to PC players via Steam and the Epic Games Store, and is a major highlight of an upcoming patch.

The update includes the Hogwarts Legacy Creator Kit, a powerful toolkit enabling players to craft entirely new content. Imagine creating custom dungeons, quests, and even character edits! The renowned modding platform, CurseForge, will host and manage these user-created mods, ensuring a safe and organized experience. A built-in mod manager will simplify the process of discovering and installing mods within the game.

Several pre-approved mods will be available on launch day, including the intriguing "Dungeon of Doom," promising a challenging encounter with numerous enemies and hidden secrets. However, it's important to note that accessing mods requires linking your Hogwarts Legacy account to a WB Games account.

Beyond modding, the patch introduces additional character customization options, including new hairstyles and outfits. The developers showcased examples of these impressive mod possibilities in a recent trailer.

Meanwhile, development continues on the highly anticipated second installment of the Hogwarts Legacy adventure. Warner Bros. Discovery has confirmed its status as a top priority for the company in the years to come.
