Konami is working hard to get Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater released in 2025

Konami's developers have provided an update on the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remake. Producer Noriaki Okamura confirmed that delivering a polished, high-quality game meeting fan expectations is the studio's top priority for 2025.

Okamura, in a recent 4Gamer interview, stated that the focus for the remainder of development is refinement and quality assurance. While the game is currently playable from start to finish, the team is dedicating their time to enhancing details and exceeding expectations.

Initial speculation suggested a 2024 release, but according to Konami, the remake is now targeted for launch next year across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

The remake aims to faithfully capture the essence of the original while integrating modern gameplay mechanics and stunning visuals. Okamura highlighted not only graphical enhancements but also the inclusion of new features designed to elevate the overall gaming experience.

Konami unveiled a captivating trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater in late September. The over two-minute video showcased key moments, including the protagonist, antagonists, intense action sequences, and a dramatic airdrop.
