What's next for Halo? Fans can expect exciting reveals during the Halo World Championship 2025 this October.
In an official blog post, Tahir "Tashi" Hasandjekic, Esports Lead for Halo, encouraged attendees to visit Seattle from October 24-26 to discover Halo Studios' latest developments.
Last October at the same event, developer 343 Industries rebranded as Halo Studios and confirmed multiple active projects while announcing their transition from Slipspace Engine to Unreal Engine for all future Halo titles.
The revelations came during a seven-minute presentation before the championship finals, showcasing Project Foundry - a technical demo proving Unreal Engine's capabilities for Halo - signaling a fresh start for Xbox's flagship series post-Halo Infinite.
Tashi's post referenced last year's announcements while hinting at more substantial reveals this October.
"Recent weeks have seen much speculation about updates regarding Halo Studios' multiple projects," Tashi commented. "While we typically remain silent, we wanted to directly address fans considering attending this year's event."
"Last year's 'A New Dawn' presentation unveiled our move to Unreal Engine, offered insights into Project Foundry, and introduced our rebranding as Halo Studios. That was merely our starting point - this year's championship will advance that conversation."
"While speculation is entertaining, those wanting official announcements about Halo Studios' current projects won't want to miss this year's event. We genuinely hope to see you in Seattle!"
