Monster Hunter Now has announced a seasonal update for the 2025 Spring Festival, running from April 14th to April 27th. This event brings a host of exciting additions to the game, including new gear and the introduction of a formidable new monster.
Introducing Ebony Odogaron
The highlight of the update is the arrival of Ebony Odogaron, a more aggressive variant of the classic Odogaron. Unlike its predecessor, Ebony Odogaron exudes black smoke from its mouth, setting it apart visually and adding to its ferocity. This powerful creature can be encountered across various environments, including forests, deserts, swamps, and tundra. Expect tougher battles due to its increased aggression and expanded roaming territory.
Joining Ebony Odogaron in the festivities are familiar faces like Kulu-Ya-Ku and other returning monsters, all available through special event quests.
Collectibles and Rewards
Throughout the event, players can gather Spring and Rainbow Eggs by defeating monsters or participating in Hunt-a-thons. These eggs can be exchanged at the Event Exchange Hub for exclusive items. On April 18th, Giant Egg Toys will become available in Hunt-a-thons, offering a rich haul of exchangeable eggs upon destruction.
Limited-Time Quests
A series of limited-time quests will be available during the festival, rewarding participants with exclusive items such as the Spring Festival 2025 medal, a special Guild Card background, and Spring 2025 Armor and Weapon Tickets. Additionally, Spring-themed equipment packs can be obtained to enhance your gameplay experience.
