Monster Hunter Wilds Update 1 Launches Soon, Update 2 Slated for Summer 2025

by Aaron Apr 25,2025

Capcom has exciting news for fans of Monster Hunter Wilds: Title Update 1 is set to launch on Thursday, April 3 Pacific Time, and April 4 UK time. In a recent showcase video, Capcom not only confirmed the release date but also detailed what players can look forward to in this first major post-launch update.

The highlight of Title Update 1 is the introduction of the Grand Hub, a new social space where players can engage in fresh interactions. Here, you'll find a new mini-game called Barrel Bowling and enjoy nightly performances by the Diva. Adding to the excitement, the leviathan monster Mizutsune, known for its dangerous bubbles, joins the fray alongside a Zoh Shia quest. Later, an event quest will introduce the formidable Arch-tempered Rey Dau.

Competitive players will be thrilled with the launch of Arena Quests, where you can vie for the fastest completion times. Title Update 1 brings free content for all players, including classic gestures from the series. Additionally, Cosmetic DLC Pack 1 will be available alongside this update.

Looking ahead, Monster Hunter Wilds is set to collaborate with an unannounced Capcom game at the end of May. A second title update is scheduled for the summer, with Capcom offering an early glimpse at a new monster that will be introduced.

While PC gamers were hoping for news on performance improvements, as the PC version faced some challenges at launch, the showcase did not address these concerns.
