In the thrilling world of Monster Hunter Now, a new feature called Monster Outbreaks is on the horizon, and Niantic is eager to gather player feedback before its official launch. This testing phase is a golden opportunity for players to experience and influence this upcoming feature.
When Is the Monster Outbreaks Testing in Monster Hunter Now?
The Monster Outbreaks testing will take place from April 26th to 27th, with two sessions each day. Mark your calendars for the event running from 10:00 to 10:59 a.m. and again from 3:00 to 3:59 p.m., local time, on both Saturday and Sunday. During these times, specific outbreak points on the map will be teeming with 8-star Black Diablos. Your mission? Team up with other players to take down a total of 100 Black Diablos at each outbreak location within the designated one-hour window. Note that the 100 count is per outbreak spot, not a global total.
To participate, you must be at least HR 11. Remember, only in-person group hunts are valid; the party feature won't work during this test. Outbreak points will be clearly marked on the map with a unique icon. Tapping on these icons will reveal more details, and a sign-up roster at each location allows you to coordinate with other hunters.
Black Diablos Is Rolling Up with Serious Boss Energy, in Swarm Mode!
The challenge is intriguing: if you and three other hunters take down one Black Diablos, it counts as four toward the goal of 100. If your team reaches the 100-mark before the time runs out, you can continue hunting Black Diablos for the remainder of the hour. Successfully hitting the 100-monster target rewards your group with 3 Black Diablos Tailcases, 3 Ridges, 3 Primeshells, 3 Marrows, and 2,000 Zenny. Plus, if you sign up using the roster, you're eligible for the special Outbreak Test I Medal.
