Mortal Kombat 1 has unveiled early footage of a new Kameo fighter coming to the game in March. Read on to find out more about Madam Bo and what she’s bringing to the game!
Mortal Kombat 1 Welcomes Madam Bo
New Kameo Fighter
Mortal Kombat 1 has just released the official trailer for its latest Kameo fighter, Madam Bo, the owner of Fengjian Teahouse. She, alongside the villainous T-1000 from Terminator 2, will join the game on March 18th, 2025, as part of the Kombat Pack 2 and the Khaos Reigns expansion.
Before becoming an assist character, Madam Bo appeared in Mortal Kombat 1’s story mode, where she was defeated by Lin Kuei assassin Smoke. This was part of a ruse to prepare Raiden and Kung Lao for the tournament. Despite her appearance, Madam Bo is a formidable fighter, having ties to the Lin Kuei and being a skilled martial artist who trained Raiden and Kung Lao.
In the gameplay footage, Madam Bo supports her pupils with powerful kicks and punches, smashing glass bottles, and executing a unique fatality that decapitates her opponent, catching their head on a tea tray.
T-1000 Makes Its Guest Debut
Alongside Madam Bo, the shapeshifting antagonist from Terminator 2: Judgment Day, T-1000, will make its debut in the Mortal Kombat franchise. This liquid metal killing machine will use its shapeshifting abilities to attack opponents with a sword or a machine gun.
Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns Expansion
Madam Bo and T-1000 are part of the Khaos Reigns expansion and DLC for Mortal Kombat 1. This expansion extends Liu Kang’s New Era story, offering a new cinematic campaign where players will see how he mobilizes his champions against the ruthless Titan Havik, who threatens the world and the New Era.
The Kombat Pack 2, included in the expansion, introduces several new and returning characters. The pack began rolling out in September 2024 with the return of Sektor, Noob Saibot, and Cyrax, followed by Ghostface from the Scream franchise in November and Conan the Barbarian in January 2025. Madam Bo and T-1000 will be the latest additions to the roster this month.
