Osmos, the acclaimed cell-absorbing puzzle game, returns to Android! Previously removed due to playability issues stemming from outdated porting technology, it's back with a completely revamped version.

Remember the unique physics-based gameplay of Osmos? Absorb microorganisms, avoid being absorbed—simple yet captivating. For years, Android users couldn't enjoy this award-winning puzzler, but now it's back on Google Play.

This brand-new Android port, finally compatible with modern operating systems, lets you experience the micro-organic battle royale like never before. Developer Hemisphere Games explains in a blog post that the original Android version, created with Apportable, became unplayable after Apportable's closure. The game was removed due to its incompatibility with current (64-bit) Android systems. This new release features a completely rebuilt port.
