Pokémon Go debuts new Grow Together ticket to give new players a boost, for a price

by Aiden Jan 04,2025

Pokémon Go introduces a new "Grow Together" ticket to accelerate player progress. Priced at $4.99, this limited-time ticket offers a significant XP boost and additional rewards.

Available from July 17th, 10:00 a.m. to September 3rd, 10:00 a.m. local time, the ticket provides 5x XP for the first daily PokéStop spin and includes a Premium Timed Research task. This research unlocks premium items and encounters with Pokémon possessing unique evolution criteria. Gifting options are available to Great Friends and above, and online PokéStore purchases include two bonus eggs.

Is it worthwhile?

The ticket's non-PokéCoin purchase and pay-to-progress nature might be off-putting to some. However, it offers a streamlined path to leveling up and accessing in-game content. The ultimate value depends on individual player engagement and investment in Pokémon Go.
