Pokémon Go Tests Go Pass in Select Regions

by Bella Apr 27,2025

Get ready, Pokémon Go trainers! A fresh new feature, the Go Pass, is currently being tested in select regions. Following the success of the Tour Pass during the Pokémon Go Tour: Unova, this innovative system is set to expand globally soon. If you're lucky enough to be in one of the participating areas, you can dive into the Go Pass: April event and snag a plethora of exciting rewards.

Battle passes have become a staple in gaming, and now Pokémon Go is joining the trend. From April 1st to May 6th, you'll have the chance to collect Go Points, level up your pass, and unlock various rewards. These include encounters with the majestic Xerneas, along with Stardust, XP, and Poké Balls to enhance your gameplay.

The Go Pass comes in two tiers: Free and Deluxe. The free version offers plenty of benefits, but if you're aiming for the top-tier rewards, the Go Pass Deluxe is the way to go. It includes premium items like a Lucky Trinket, Candy XL, and essential tools such as Incubators and Lure Modules. You can upgrade to Deluxe at any time and claim rewards from previously unlocked levels retroactively.

As you advance through the Go Pass, you'll hit Major Milestones that unlock additional perks. At Tier one, the duration of Daily Adventure Incense is extended. Tier two boosts XP and Stardust from Research Breakthroughs, and Tier three enhances Stardust and XP from hatching Eggs. And for the final Deluxe reward, you'll receive another Lucky Trinket, ensuring a guaranteed Lucky Friend encounter.

Don't miss out on extra freebies! Make sure to redeem these *Pokémon Go codes* for additional goodies.

Keep in mind that since the Go Pass is still in its testing phase, the rewards and structure might differ from one region to another. Some areas may encounter different Pokémon, receive adjusted item rewards, or even earn PokéCoins at certain ranks. These variations will help Niantic perfect the system before its official global launch.

If you're in an eligible region, now's your chance to experience the Go Pass before it goes worldwide. Remember to claim all your earned rewards by May 8th, and make sure to use your Lucky Trinket before it expires on May 11th!
