Best Pokemon GO Holiday Cup Little Edition Teams

The Pokémon GO Holiday Cup: Little Edition is here! This limited-time event, running from December 17th to 24th, 2024, presents a unique challenge with a 500 CP cap and restricted type pool (Electric, Flying, Ghost, Grass, Ice, and Normal). This necessitates strategic team building, departing from typical meta strategies.

Crafting a Winning Team:

The key is identifying Pokémon below 500 CP that meet the type restrictions. Smeargle, previously banned, is a major factor this year, capable of copying powerful moves. Counter-strategies are crucial.

Suggested Team Compositions:

Here are three sample team builds, highlighting type advantages and Smeargle counters:

Team 1: Versatile Coverage

This team utilizes dual typing for broader coverage. Pikachu Libre's Fighting type counters Normal-type Smeargle, while Ducklett and Alolan Marowak offer additional type advantages. Skeledirge is a viable Alolan Marowak substitute.

Team 2: Embracing the Smeargle Meta

This team incorporates Smeargle, leveraging its move-copying ability. Ducklett counters Fighting-type Pokémon targeting Smeargle, while Amaura provides Rock-type coverage.

Team 3: Underdog Lineup

This team features less common Pokémon. Litwick excels against Ghost, Grass, and Ice types, Cottonee offers strong Grass and Fairy moves, and Gligar provides advantages against Electric types and Fire-type resistance.

Remember, these are suggestions; adapt based on your available Pokémon and play style. Good luck in the Holiday Cup: Little Edition! Pokémon GO is available now.
