The 2025 PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) is officially live, featuring a massive 90,000+ competitor roster in its inaugural international PUBG Mobile esports competition. The Open Qualifiers kicked off February 13th, providing a platform for aspiring players to showcase their skills and vie for a Main Event spot.
A substantial $500,000 prize pool fuels the competition, demanding teams demonstrate their prowess through multiple qualifying rounds before facing established esports organizations. The amateur-only structure ensures fresh talent takes center stage.
Teams boasting at least one Ultimate 500-ranked player (Cycle 7 Season 20 or 21) have already advanced to Round 2 of the Open Qualifiers. Upcoming weeks will see intense battles for PMGO Prelims entry, where they'll clash with top performers from the Uzbekistan Offline Qualifiers.
Twelve teams will ultimately earn the coveted opportunity to challenge PUBG Mobile's elite professionals in the PMGO Main Event. Four professional teams—Regnum Carya, Nigma Galaxy, 4Merical Vibes, and Influence Rage—have already secured their Main Event berths based on their exceptional PMGC 2024 performances. Four additional teams will qualify through regional tournaments, including PMSL SEA Spring, PMGO Korea Qualifier, and the Peacekeeper Elite League Spring season.
