Rainbow Six Siege X: Atlanta Reveals

As Rainbow Six Siege celebrates its tenth anniversary, Ubisoft is ushering the game into a new era with the introduction of Siege X. This major update, akin to the transformation from CS:GO to CS2, promises to revolutionize the gameplay experience. Siege X is scheduled to launch on June 10, and with its arrival, the game will transition to a free-to-play model, making it accessible to a broader audience.

Key Changes in Siege X:

New Mode: Dual Front – This innovative 6v6 mode blends attack and defense operators in a dynamic format. Teams compete to capture enemy zones and plant sabotage devices across a map divided into multiple areas. Each team has three designated zones, and there's one large neutral zone. Players can respawn 30 seconds after being eliminated, adding a continuous flow to the gameplay.

Advanced Rappel System – Siege X introduces an enhanced rappelling mechanic, allowing players to use ropes not only vertically but also horizontally, offering new strategic possibilities during operations.

Increased Environmental Destruction – The game's environment is set to become more interactive with new destructible elements. Players can now trigger explosions using fire extinguishers and gas pipes, adding depth to tactical planning and execution.

Reworks for Five Popular Maps – Ubisoft is revamping five of the most beloved maps, bringing significant updates to enhance gameplay and keep the environments fresh and challenging.

Graphical & Audio Enhancements – A major overhaul in visuals and sound is on the way, promising a more immersive and realistic experience for players.

Improved Anti-Cheat & Toxicity Measures – The developers are committed to creating a fairer and more enjoyable environment by refining the anti-cheat system and implementing stronger measures against toxic behavior within the community.

To give players a taste of what's to come, Ubisoft has announced a closed beta for Siege X. This beta will be accessible to those who watch Siege streams over the next seven days, offering an exciting opportunity to experience the game's new features ahead of its official release.
