Meteorfall

Slothwerks, the indie studio behind the Meteorfall franchise, returns with a fresh card battler. Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble has just opened Android pre-registrations. Following Meteorfall (2017) and Meteorfall: Krumit’s Tale (2019), this marks the third installment in the acclaimed series, scheduled for launch next month.

What’s the Setting?

This roguelike deckbuilder delivers fast-paced matches where victory comes from rule-bending tactics rather than conventional play. Players command a three-hero squad selected from eight unique characters, each with specialized decks, while trying to satisfy a rowdy crowd.

The game boasts over 200 customizable cards that can be upgraded mid-run through layered enhancements. Wild Cards introduce rule-breaking mechanics, while in-combat feats unlock special buffs. Between battles, players explore Bramble Town - making strategic choices about deck improvements, team training, or simply soaking up the game’s signature offbeat atmosphere.

Pre-Registration for Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble Is Now Live

Originally titled Bramble Royale, the developers rebranded the project to Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble after players mistakenly assumed it was a battle royale game. This strategic rename better connects the title to its established franchise while maintaining its distinctive personality.

Fans can now pre-register for Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble via the Google Play Store ahead of its June 25th, 2025 release, priced at $6.99 USD.
