Monster Hunter Now is gearing up for an exciting launch with Season 5: The Blossoming Blade, and Niantic has unveiled all the thrilling details. Set to officially kick off on March 6th, 2025, this season promises new challenges, weapons, a Season Pass, and fresh monsters to conquer.
Getting Ready for Monster Hunter Now Season 5
Before the new season even starts, players can look forward to a special treat with the arrival of Chatacabra on February 28th. This monster is making its grand debut ahead of its first-ever appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. When Season 5 officially launches, Glavenus and Arzuros will also make their entrance into the game.
The weapons in Monster Hunter Now are receiving balance tweaks to enhance their viability and enjoyment. The Sword & Shield is getting a significant buff, making it easier to target breakable parts like tails. The Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will now reward well-timed taps with stronger performance, leading to more satisfying combos.
Additionally, the Guard skill is getting a much-needed boost. Previously, leveling up Guard barely made a difference, but now, higher skill levels will significantly reduce damage taken when blocking. More exciting tweaks will be revealed in the full patch notes on March 6th.
And There Is More!
For those struggling with an overflowing inventory, Monster Hunter Now Season 5 introduces an Item Box Expansion available as a Supply Item. This will give you an additional 250 slots to manage your gear more effectively.
As part of Monster Hunter Now's 1.5-Year Anniversary celebration on March 17th, a new feature will be introduced. This feature allows players to trade special materials earned from hunts and events for fantastic rewards. Expect to see items like Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards available for trade.
So, prepare for the new season by downloading the game from the Google Play Store and diving into the action.
