Pokémon Sleep players have a treat! As of December 3rd, Sneasel and Weavile are available to befriend. This guide details how to find and utilize these icy additions.
Where to Find Sneasel and Weavile
Given their Ice/Dark typing in the main series, you might expect Snowdrop Tundra. While they do appear there, they're classified as Dark-type in Pokémon Sleep (no dual typing here). Conveniently, they also appear on Greengrass Isle, making them accessible to all players, regardless of island unlocks. Use an EZ Travel Ticket to switch islands if needed.
Sleep Types
Both Sneasel and Weavile are Dozing-type Pokémon. For increased encounter rates, ensure your sleep type matches. Sneasel is easier to find initially, evolving into Weavile with 80 Sneasel Candy and a Razor Claw. However, wild Weavile encounters are necessary for Sleep Research data.
Are They Worth It?
Sneasel's value lies in Wiki Berry gathering, particularly beneficial in Snowdrop Tundra. It also provides an "Extra Tasty" boost to dishes. Its ingredient requirements include sought-after items, making a well-equipped Sneasel a valuable asset.

Sneasel Debut Bundle
