Solaris Enters Polytopia to Obliterate Squares

The fiery Solaris tribe has finally arrived in the mobile version of The Battle of Polytopia. After launching on PC a few months ago, this blazing counterpart to the frosty Polaris is now available on mobile, ready to scorch the Square to cinders!

Solaris Turns Up the Heat in The Battle of Polytopia

The new Solaris skin transforms ice into blazing terrain, snow into ash, and tranquil lakes into molten lava. Mechanically, it's the same tribe, but they have traded their chilling strategies for a far more incendiary approach.

This update also introduces some compelling lore, linked to an ancient, endless war that has devastated entire worlds. The frozen Polaris already encountered the enigmatic Gaami, and now the conflict intensifies with the emergence of the Ralmi.

The Ralmi are fire-wielding invaders who have surged from the underworld, setting their sights on conquering the Square. Their first move was to enslave the Solaris and spread their destructive fire magic across the land.

Solaris Brings Unique Gameplay Mechanics

They possess the ability to solidify water into lava, altering how you traverse the map. Their units, such as the Pyro, ignite surrounding tiles as they move, while Ash Archers can petrify enemy forces.

The Steam Wagon provides rapid transport across lava rivers. To expand your empire, Lava Banks generate stars by setting the terrain ablaze. Check out the Solaris in action in The Battle of Polytopia in the video below.

You can master skills like Heatwork for creating craters, Geothermics for harnessing volcanic turbines, and Explosives for adding dramatic flair. Meanwhile, the Ralmi introduce new threats, including the Tuagama Lizard and Igmina Crystals.
