Ticket to Ride: Switzerland Expansion Brings New Routes and Challenges!

The popular digital board game, Ticket to Ride, is expanding its routes with the new Switzerland expansion. This addition introduces a thrilling new gameplay element: country-to-country connections. Players can now strategically build their railroad empires across Switzerland and its neighboring nations, adding a fresh layer of complexity to the game.

Beyond the geographical expansion, two new characters and four new tokens join the mix, making this a perfect holiday gift for Ticket to Ride enthusiasts. Developer Marmalade Games designed this expansion to enhance the gameplay experience for both seasoned players and newcomers, fostering a more dynamic and strategic approach.

The new country-to-country tickets require players to link specific countries, offering multiple route options and varying point values for completion. Similarly, city-to-country tickets add another dimension to strategic planning. Each country features a set number of connection points, demanding careful consideration of route prioritization. Failure to complete a ticket results in point deductions based on the ticket's lowest value.

The Switzerland expansion is currently available on Google Play, the App Store, and Steam, with PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox releases coming soon. Stay updated on all things Ticket to Ride by following Marmalade Games on Facebook and Instagram.
