Exciting news for fans of farm life sim RPGs: My Time at Sandrock is making its way to mobile devices! The game, developed by Pathea Games and a sequel to the 2019 hit My Time at Portia, was released on PC in 2023. On Steam, it's published by PM Studios and Focus Entertainment, while the upcoming mobile version's beta test in China is being managed by Conscience Studio.
When Is the My Time at Sandrock Android Beta Test?
This marks the first-ever mobile test for My Time at Sandrock, serving as a technical trial to assess how well the game adapts to the mobile platform. The developers are still fine-tuning aspects like resource loading and optimization, so participants should be prepared for some hiccups.
This exclusive, small-scale Android beta test is set to take place through the Haoyou Kuaibao platform in China. If you're located in China and interested, you can apply until January 22nd. The test itself begins on January 23rd.
Keep in mind that all saves will be wiped at the end of the test. However, you'll have the opportunity to dive back into the game and embark on a new adventure after completing the initial 30 days of in-game content, which spans the first 13 chapters. If you're in China and eager to participate, head over to the official beta test page.
What’s the Story?
Set in a post-apocalyptic desert 300 years after the catastrophic Day of Calamity, which obliterated modern technology, My Time at Sandrock places you in the role of the town's newest Builder. Your mission involves gathering resources, crafting machines, building relationships with the locals, and even fending off monsters. The game's art style is delightfully quirky and charming, as you can see in the trailer below.
