Uncharted Waters Origin's new update, "The Lighthouse of the Ruins," introduces a challenging PvE event, new characters, and exciting events running until early November.
A Recurring Monthly Challenge
"The Lighthouse of the Ruins" is a tiered PvE challenge where players ascend through increasingly difficult levels, earning rewards such as Blue Gems and Shipbuilding Accelerations. Significant rewards are granted for clearing specific levels. The event resets monthly, allowing players to retain half their progress, preventing a complete restart each time. Each attempt costs 10 energy, with 8 energy refunded upon failure. However, redo items are not permitted, and rank rewards are awarded only once per month.
New Crew Members and Admiral
The update introduces William Adams, a new S-grade Admiral based on the famous English navigator who journeyed to Japan. New Mates also join the crew: Naoe Kanetsugu and Togo Grimani (normal Mates), and Ga Eunjeong and Tatsumaru (Employee Mates).
Mate Transcendence System
A new Mate Growth system, "Transcendence," unlocks after maximizing a Mate's Premium Training, adding an extra Effect slot. The required "Tome of Transcendence" can be obtained from "The Lighthouse of the Ruins," Arctic Waters Land Training, and a Cape Town smuggling ring assistant captain.
Limited-Time Event
The "Combat Support Special Attendance Event" runs until November 5th, offering players 60 Tomes of Transcendence, 40 Highest Combat Appointments, a Birch Board, and equipment including the Marxbrüder Zweihänder & Rüstung simply for logging in.
