World of Warcraft has confirmed that the Breakneck races will fully leverage the D.R.I.V.E. system.

In addition to Breakneck races, Patch 11.1 introduces Skyrocket races, a novel challenge where players use Goblin jetpacks to soar through the skies. This new movement style blends elements of existing flight systems: players cannot stop mid-air as with Steady flight, yet they maintain momentum and altitude unlike in Skyriding.
