The iconic Tim Burton's Batman universe is set to expand with the release of a new novel titled "Batman: Revolution." Authored by John Jackson Miller and brought to readers by Penguin Random House, this eagerly awaited book introduces the Burton-Verse's take on The Riddler. Fans can now preorder "Batman: Revolution" on Amazon, ensuring they don't miss out on this exciting addition to the series.

As reported by ComicBook.com, "Batman: Revolution" serves as a sequel to the 2024 novel "Batman: Resurrection," also written by Miller. Set between the events of the 1989 "Batman" and 1992's "Batman Returns," the narrative draws inspiration from Burton's envisioned but never-realized third Batman film, which was rumored to feature Robin Williams as The Riddler.

Here's the official synopsis for "Batman: Revolution":

*It’s summer in Gotham City, and the atmosphere is ripe for celebration. The lingering effects of The Joker’s toxic legacy have finally dissipated, setting the stage for a grand Fourth of July event orchestrated by the mayor and retail magnate Max Shreck. Yet, amidst the festivities, not all is well. Batman remains ever vigilant as threats from rival gangs and masked criminals intensify. On the streets, protests mount against the city's opulent displays.*

*Norman Pinkus, a modest copy boy at the Gotham Globe and the creative force behind the newspaper's popular Riddle Me This puzzles, embodies the city's struggle between hope and despair. Unbeknownst to others, Norman is Gotham's smartest man, anonymously solving crimes via the police tip line before Batman even catches wind of them. Despite his contributions, Norman remains unnoticed and unrewarded. Frustrated and overlooked, he transforms into The Riddler, leveraging the summer's tensions to challenge Batman in a high-stakes game of riddles aimed at proving who the true savior of Gotham is. As their confrontation unfolds, deep secrets about Gotham's past are unearthed, threatening the city's future.*

"Batman: Revolution" is slated for release on October 28, 2025, and can be preordered on Amazon.
