Blastoise Wonder Pick Event: Updated Rewards for Pokemon TCG Pocket

The second part of the Blastoise Wonder Pick event in Pokemon TCG Pocket is now underway, bringing with it a fresh wave of exciting cosmetic rewards. The event shop has been updated to include a variety of Blastoise-themed items, such as a Blastoise icon, coin, card sleeves, and a Blue and Blastoise playmat. These new additions are sure to delight fans of the iconic Water-type Pokemon. The second part of the event will run until January 22, while the event shop will remain open until January 28, giving players ample time to collect all the new items.

Following a bustling holiday season where Pokemon TCG Pocket generously distributed Pack Hourglasses and free boosters to players just for logging in, the game's event schedule has calmed down. Many dedicated players have already completed their collections of cards from the Mythical Island booster packs and are eagerly anticipating the next expansion, rumored to launch at the end of January. The confirmation that Pack Hourglasses can be used in future expansions has led many to stockpile them in anticipation.

In the meantime, the Blastoise Wonder Pick Event has been refreshed with new rewards, providing players with another compelling reason to log in daily. The event shop now features the new Blastoise-themed cosmetics, offering players the chance to personalize their game experience. If you have extra event tickets, you can exchange them for up to 1,000 Shinedust, with each set of 50 Shinedust costing one event ticket. This exchange system adds an extra layer of strategy to the event, allowing players to choose between collecting cosmetics or accumulating Shinedust.

Blastoise Wonder Pick Event Has New Rewards

The first part of the current Wonder Pick Event kicked off on January 6, introducing two new promo cards featuring Squirtle and Charmander. These cards maintain the same attack as their standard counterparts but boast unique artwork that adds a special touch to any collection. The rewards from the first part of the event, including a backdrop featuring the trainer Blue and a cover showcasing Blue and Blastoise together, are still available for players to claim. Additionally, the event introduced new missions that can be completed by participating in special Wonder Pick choices.

Completing these missions earns players Event Shop Tickets, which can be used to acquire the new cosmetics. Missions include participating in the Wonder Pick and collecting Fire-type and Water-type cards. For those who haven't yet joined in, missions from both parts of the event are cumulative and can be completed simultaneously, making it easier to gather all the rewards. The Bonus Pick also offers Event Shop Tickets, further simplifying the process of collecting all the shop items. Logging in daily is highly recommended for those aiming to collect all Pokemon TCG Pocket promo cards, especially since the trade feature reportedly won't allow trading these limited cards.
