Boxing Star unleashes the beast with new animal-inspired MegaPunches and Gym equipment

by Hannah May 02,2025

For fans of arcade-style sports games, ThumbAge's Boxing Star just got even more exciting with its latest update. If you thought the game was already a knockout blend of goofy fun and intense action, wait until you see what's new. The update introduces two thrilling MegaPunches, which are essentially super moves that can turn the tide of any match. Once your Hyper Gauge is full, you can unleash these devastating blows to flatten your opponents. The new MegaPunches, Flame Bone and Frost Fang, bring an animalistic edge to your arsenal. Flame Bone, inspired by the mythical dragon, engulfs your opponent in flames, with damage based on critical hits. Meanwhile, Frost Fang freezes your opponent in place, dealing damage while they're trapped in a chilly barrier.

But that's not all—Boxing Star is also adding new gym equipment to help you upgrade your character between bouts. The Deadlift machine boosts your skill damage stats and can be upgraded up to level 8, while the Training Timer reduces the time needed to train skills, getting you back into the ring faster.

While purists might argue that Boxing Star isn't a realistic simulation of boxing, it more than makes up for it with its vibrant, action-packed content. It's a game that prioritizes fun over simulation, and with these new additions, it's clear that ThumbAge is committed to keeping the gameplay fresh and exciting.
