If you've been following our regular feature, the App Army Assemble, you might recall our warm reception to the cyberpunk roguelike deckbuilder Cyber Quest. If you were intrigued before, the latest update, which introduces Adventure Mode, is bound to draw you in even further!
So, what's new? Adventure Mode offers a more relaxed way to explore the vibrant cityscape of Cyber Quest. Whether you're meeting an array of quirky characters, taking on odd jobs, facing tough decisions, or trying your luck at a casino, there's plenty to keep you engaged. You can also dive into hacking minigames, uncover hidden secrets, and encounter powerful allies and enemies.
This update isn't just about the new Adventure Mode. It also introduces a fresh card class called the Hopper, new enemy dialogue for a richer narrative experience, a crew randomizer to add variety to your runs, and squads that help you unlock a range of preset characters. There's so much to explore and enjoy!
Cyber Quest caught my attention upon its release, blending several of my favorite elements into one game. Although the roguelike deckbuilder genre is increasingly crowded, it's refreshing to see an indie game like this gain traction. The addition of Adventure Mode is set to enhance the game's longevity, appealing to both new and returning players.
