At the ID@Xbox Showcase event, the team behind Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault unveiled an exciting new trailer, giving fans a sneak peek into the much-anticipated sequel. It was also announced that the game will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one, with a launch expected before the year's end.
Digital Sun, in collaboration with publisher 11 bit studios, has developed this isometric action-adventure RPG with roguelike elements. In Moonlighter 2, players will work to transform their humble shop into a thriving business by exploring dungeons, collecting rare artifacts, and confronting formidable creatures.
Digital Sun has promised that Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault builds upon the original game's core, offering more expansive stories and improved gameplay mechanics. The narrative centers on Will, the protagonist, as he searches for his home dimension within the vast world of Trense. Throughout his journey, Will reconnects with old allies and forges new friendships. His adventure leads him to encounter a mysterious trader who enlists his help in finding potent relics that could guide him back to his origins.
The game's soundtrack is composed by the renowned Chris Larkin, famous for his work on Hollow Knight. Fans can look forward to the release of Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault later this year on PC (Steam), Xbox Series, and PS5.
