In a recent interview with The Direct, Yuri Lowenthal, the voice actor behind Peter Parker in the Marvel’s Spider-Man series, confirmed that fans can expect to see Peter Parker actively involved in the upcoming, yet to be officially announced, Marvel’s Spider-Man 3. Despite the ambiguous ending of Spider-Man 2, Lowenthal reassured fans that Peter will not be sidelined.
"There are very few things that I can say about this game, but you have somehow landed on the one thing that I can answer, and that's that, yes, Peter is not gone,” Lowenthal stated. “He will be a part of the next game and he won't be relegated to the couch, I promise."
