Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will arrive in Call of Duty

Activision has unveiled an exciting new crossover event for the popular online shooters, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Warzone, bringing back the beloved heroes from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series. This marks yet another appearance of these iconic characters in an Activision title, much to the delight of fans worldwide.

While the developers have kept the specifics under wraps, promising only that the collaboration will launch "soon," eager fans have already begun to speculate. According to unconfirmed leaks from CODWarfareForum, players might look forward to skins featuring all four of the beloved turtle protagonists. Although there's no mention of other fan-favorites like April O'Neil, Master Splinter, or the notorious villain Shredder, the anticipation is high. New close combat and finishing move weapons inspired by the turtles, including a skateboard, katana, nunchucks, and a staff, are also rumored to be part of the crossover. The main events are expected to unfold on the Grind map, a skatepark that perfectly complements the theme of the collaboration.

However, the announcement has met with mixed reactions from the community. While the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are a cherished franchise, the current state of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has dampened the excitement. The game is currently plagued by numerous bugs and rampant cheating, leading to a significant decline in its player base. Many fans view this collaboration as a move during a time of crisis for the game, casting doubts on whether the crossover can truly rejuvenate interest or if it's merely a temporary distraction.
