Rinascita is brimming with fascinating discoveries, including a variety of puzzles that can be quite challenging to solve. Among these, Morph Paintings stand out, featuring two distinct puzzle types: Overflowing Palettes and straightforward restoration tasks.
Morph Painting Restoration puzzles are delightfully simple yet incredibly rewarding, especially if you're aiming to gather additional resources like Astrites in Wuthering Waves. Here's a quick guide on how these puzzles function, their locations, and the steps to solve them.
Restoring Morph Paintings in Wuthering Waves
Restoring Morph Paintings involves locating the correct paintings and placing them on the designated pedestals. Start by reading the descriptions on the pedestals to identify the matching portrait. Then, use your Levitator utility to return the painting to its rightful spot. The game typically auto-switches to the Levitator, but if it doesn't, you can manually equip it by pressing Tab or D-Pad Left.
Currently, there are two such paintings in the game, linked to the Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise and Trials of Old quests.
Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise Morph Painting Puzzle
The Shadows of the Past questline in Wuthering Waves takes players on a journey through all three towers in Thorncrown - Thessaleo Falls. Resounding Rise, one of these towers, houses a Morph Painting puzzle. To solve it, use the central large painting as your reference point and follow these steps:
- Exchange the paintings in the front-left and back-right positions.
- Move the painting located behind the left pedestals to the back-left spot.
- Transfer the painting behind the chairs on the right to the front-right position.
Upon successfully completing the puzzle, a chest will materialize, allowing you to continue with the rest of the quest.
Trials of Old Morph Painting Puzzle
The Trials of Old quest requires you to conquer four distinct trials near Porto-Veno Castle in the eastern part of Thessaleo Fells. Within the Trial of Wisdom, you'll encounter another Morph Painting puzzle. Arrange the paintings on the pedestals to narrate a coherent story from left to right. The correct solution is illustrated in the image above.
A handy tip for solving this puzzle is to check if the painting frame illuminates once inserted. This visual cue helps you confirm whether you've placed the Morph Painting on the right pedestal, effectively simplifying the puzzle's mechanics.
