Obsidian has mapped out three major updates for Avowed this year. The first is already live with update 1.4, featuring enhancements such as mouse and keyboard support on Xbox, more crafting materials, gear adjustments, a new party camp feature, and other delightful surprises. For those yet to explore the world of Eora, the summer update promises cooking and crafting improvements, new NPC interactions, additional weapons and armor, and customizable map markers.
Wrapping up the year, the fall update is shaping up to be the biggest yet, introducing much-requested features like New Game Plus and photo mode. Expect even more from this update, including a brand-new weapon type, the ability to alter appearances in-world, additional character presets, and more. Obsidian also emphasized their commitment to localization, acknowledging players in Korea, Japan, and French-speaking regions. They’re actively working on localized versions for Korean and Japanese languages, with continuous improvements for French content.
