inZOI Life Simulator: Special Demo on March 19 and Full Release on March 28

The highly anticipated life simulation game, inZOI, is launching globally on March 28th. Developer KRAFTON has confirmed this exciting news, offering a sneak peek into this innovative title. Before the official launch, a special live demonstration will be held on March 19th.

This exclusive event will provide players with valuable insights into the upcoming Early Access phase, covering pricing, DLC plans, the game's development roadmap, and answering community questions. The stream will be broadcast on the official YouTube and Twitch channels, giving global fans direct access to the creators and a chance to learn more.

A key feature of inZOI is its unique global karma system. Every action taken by in-game characters impacts their personal karma score, profoundly influencing the world. Upon a character's death, their accumulated karma determines their afterlife. Negative karma results in becoming a ghost, requiring atonement before reincarnation. An overabundance of ghosts disrupts the city's natural cycle, halting childbirth and transforming the settlement into a hauntingly eerie place.

Game director Hyunjun Kim emphasizes that the karma system isn't about rigid moral judgments or limiting player freedom. Instead, it encourages exploration of life's complexities. "Life cannot simply be divided into 'good' and 'bad'," Kim explains. "Each life has its own significance and value. We hope players will use the karma system in inZOI to create diverse stories and experiences while exploring the multifaceted nature of existence."

Given players' creative (and sometimes mischievous) tendencies in similar games like The Sims—think pool-building without ladders—it will be fascinating to see how players interact with inZOI's karma mechanics. Fans can dive into this immersive world when the game launches globally on March 28th.
